The IVF Anchor ("I", "me", "The IVF Anchor") is run by Nene, trading as The IVF Anchor. This policy explains what personal information I collect through theivfanchor.co.uk, why I collect it, and what your rights are under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

What information I collect
I collect information you give me directly, and a small amount collected automatically when you use the site.
- Booking a call: when you book an intro call or session through Calendly, I receive your name, email address and any details you add in the booking form.
- Paying for coaching or a guide: payments are processed by Stripe (for coaching sessions) and Payhip (for digital guides). I receive confirmation that payment was made, your name and email, and the product purchased. I do not see or store your full card details — these are handled directly by Stripe and Payhip.
- Newsletter sign-up: if you subscribe using the form on this site, your email address (and name, if you provide one) is stored with MailerLite, my email marketing provider.
- Getting in touch: if you email me or message me through social media, I hold that correspondence and any information you choose to share in it.
- Coaching sessions: anything you share with me during a paid coaching relationship is kept confidential and used only to provide that support.
How I use your information
- To respond to enquiries and arrange bookings
- To provide coaching sessions and deliver digital guides you've purchased
- To process payments and keep the financial records I'm legally required to keep
- To send newsletter emails, if you've opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email
- To improve the site and the support I offer
Legal basis for processing
I rely on the following legal bases under UK GDPR: your consent (for the newsletter), performance of a contract with you (for bookings, coaching and guide purchases), and my legitimate interest in running and improving this business, which I balance against your right to privacy.
Who I share information with
I use a small number of trusted third-party services to run this business. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:
- Calendly — booking and scheduling
- Stripe — payment processing for coaching sessions
- Payhip — sale and delivery of digital guides
- MailerLite — newsletter emails
- Netlify — website hosting
I do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Cookies
This site uses minimal cookies, mainly to allow the newsletter sign-up form and site hosting to function correctly. These do not track you across other websites. You can control cookies through your browser settings at any time.
How long I keep your information
I keep booking and payment records for as long as required by UK tax law (currently six years). Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Coaching notes are kept only as long as needed to support you, and are treated as confidential at all times.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information I hold about you and get a copy of it
- Ask me to correct inaccurate information
- Ask me to delete your information, where I'm not required to keep it for legal reasons
- Object to or restrict certain uses of your information
- Withdraw consent at any time, where I rely on consent (such as the newsletter)
To exercise any of these rights, email theivfanchor@gmail.com. If you're not satisfied with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Children
This site and my services are intended for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time as the business grows. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
